COVID 19 Pandemic TANF ASSISTANCE Program

YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE THE FOLLOWING ASSISTANCE.  

ALL ASSISTANCE MUST BE RELATED TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC

 I.         One-time benefit payment of $500.00 to replace lost wages to current Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) households with children.  You must be able to verify any lost wages in the past 90 days and how it was related to the COVID 19 Pandemic. 

            Program available until funds are depleted.  

              II.         Burial assistance

            A one-time benefit to assist a TANF eligible household financially responsible for a family member’s cremation expense up to $2,500.00 but lack funds/resources to cover cost due to impact of COVID-19.   

            Applicant must be a Guernsey County resident.  

            Program available until funds are depleted.  

You must be TANF eligible to receive either benefit.
