Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program (CCMEP)

The Comprehensive Case Management & Employment Program (CCMEP) is intended to assist individuals ages 14 to 24 with serious barriers to employment in becoming self-sufficient through employment and education or training.  CCMEP staff are here to help you finish high school, get started in a higher education program, attain employment, keep the employment you already have, and help you find better employment. 

Who is the CCMEP intended to serve?

The CCMEP is intended to serve individuals ages 14 to 24 who can, with assistance, reasonably be expected to:

1)  Attain a high school diploma or its equivalent, an industry-standard certificate, or a post-secondary degree.

2)  Attain high school-level reading and math skills.

3)  Be successful in unsubsidized employment and/or post-secondary education or advanced training.

Comprehensive Case Management & Employment Program (CCMEP) Goals
Goal #1: To complete High School/Alternative School diploma or GED certificate and/or to complete occupational skills training and earn certification.

Goal #2: To improve math, reading, and language skills (through Test of Adult Basic Education – “TABE”) testing.

Goal #3: To gain skills in the CCMEP to become employable, enter the military, or enroll in post-secondary education (college).
Who is eligible?

CCMEP focuses on individuals ages 14 to 24 who are:

  • Out of school
  • Junior/senior status in-school
  • Have an identified barrier to education and/or employment

Eligibility for CCMEP is determined:

• Age, citizenship, Selective Service registration

• Economic eligibility & barrier

• CCMEP Education Pathway

• CCMEP Employment Pathway

• CCMEP Post-Secondary/Training Pathway

Comprehensive Case Management & Employment Program (CCMEP) Expectations
  • Program is VOLUNTARY – Individuals must agree to participate
  • Parent/guardian consents to participation
  • Participants are expected to attend life skills classes, employability skills training, TABE testing, and risk assessments, enroll in an appropriate educational program and/or become employed.
  • Out-of-school participants will ideally meet their goals within a one year timeframe
  • In-school participants will meet their goals within a two year timeframe.
