About Us
Guernsey County Job & Family Services (GCJFS) is a county, state and federally supported triple-combined agency that develops and oversees programs and services designed to strengthen families and protect the elderly.

Guernsey County’s Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA), Public Assistance (PA), and Ohio Means Jobs - Guernsey County (OMJ).

These three agencies work as one in an effort to help Guernsey County residents maintain a healthy lifestyle, while obtaining and/or keeping employment and gaining independence through education, work experience programs, job skills and training. Other GCJFS programs help to ensure a safe and healthy environment for individuals and families who need assistance in meeting their basic needs due to temporary or permanent situations.

We are proud of the services we provide to the community through the efforts of a professional and dedicated staff with strong emphasis on workforce development and community involvement.
